Free public events! Paying more and getting less: the private clinics' threat to Medicare
Don't miss two free upcoming public events being organized by the Health Coalition. They will offer a rare opportunity to hear directly about the fight for public health care south of the border and about the private insurance industry's threat here in Canada.
Guest speakers include representatives from the US-based Physicians for a National Health Program, Canadian Doctors for Medicare, and the Canadian Health Coalition.
Speakers will share information about the heated health care debate in the U.S. and the implications of the constitutional challenge launched by a group of private clinics in B.C. that could open our doors to US-style private insurance companies and dramatically change public health care for all of us.
